1995 Flood

Only 13 months after the last event there is a second major flooding of the Rhine river. The gauge at Cologne shows 10.69 meters and equals the centennial record of 1926. However, due to the experiences of 1993, the counteractive measures are much more effective this time. Thereby the damage can be limited to a comparatively low level.
