principal values
Water management uses a set of principal values that are deduced from perennial continous measurements. Examples are the Lowest low water discharge (NNQ), the Mean low water discharge (MNQ), Mean annual discharge (MQ), Highest annual discharge (HQ) and Highest high water (HHQ).
