Elbe River Flood

After the great flood of August, 2002, the Elbe region is currently affected by a flooding again. At the Dresden gauge, the second highest water level since the year 1941 was reached. The flood experts group of the Natural Disasters Networking Platform (NaDiNe) provides scientific information about the ongoing event. The Center for Satellite Based Crisis Information (ZKI) at DLR startet mapping the crisis region.
